My Story Our Future Exhibition Opening

About the Event
ICC, Greenwich Historical Society, and UConn AASI are proud to announce the opening reception of the third annual student-curated My Story Our Future exhibition at Greenwich Historical Society. This special event will feature remarks from Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz and Dr. Jason Chang, associate professor of History and Asian American Studies at UConn. Dr. Chang, a key advocate behind the 2022 legislation mandating K-12 AAPI curriculum in Connecticut public schools, who will discuss how ICC teens have made history by contributing to the state's AAPI curriculum. Participating students will also share their reflections on how My Story Our Future has personally impacted them.
ICC invites the community to attend the program, opening of the exhibition, and stay for refreshments. Please register.
